What is the Best Way to Advertise Online?

The most effective way to advertise online on the internet is to first setup a website and publish its domain name in major search directories like Google, yahoo and msn. More than 80% of users rely on these search directories to provide them with goods and services. These search engines and directories can also be termed as very large internet yellow pages.

Your website should include the generic keywords. If it does not contain the reliable and generic keywords then any one using such generic queries will not be able to discover or locate your website. Your domain name will be invisible and indiscoverable.

You should consider those simple algorithms which are duly observed and committed in designing of a website that are placed with various critical Meta tags. The Meta tags should contain the keywords that can surely promise to achieve high search engine presence and increase internet traffic to your website. The Meta tags strategies should be able to work well with the published WebPages at Google and yahoo.

When you design an extensive flash based website make sure to fill all the property entries like title, description and keywords. Failing to do so leaves no option for hard html or alt resource which is very necessary to be readily indexed by search engine robots. Consider the internet audience and their incoming setup. Flash pages takes too time to load up and analog users will not be able to load up and discontinue entering the site.

On the other hand non flash based websites relies on the hard text and is very easier to get indexed by search robots. Limit the use of stylized text saved as .gif, since as a graphic they are not indexed by search robots. Avoid use of frames as the search robots are not able to properly classify the textual material.

The ranking or search order takes place with Google and yahoo and begins with the title Meta tag. The title tag should not consist of more than 65 characters separated by commas. The title should describe in generic term the goods and services followed by location from which resource is located. The domain name which do not resemble with your title is not appropriate unless domains a reputed brand name.

Description should be between 25-30 words which best describes the products and services. Keywords can be limited to 15-16 that can be plural and compound in nature. Avoid multiple entries defined as repeating of keywords These when discovered can be reported to Google spamreport.com and result in elimination of your website from search directories.

Remember that high web presence can be achieved by proper web design and placement of relevant Meta tags according to Google publication guidelines. Thus the best way is to have different kind of advertisement sources to test out and see which one gets you the best response.

10 Ways to Stop Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL, and EarthLink from Stealing Money from Your Business

How many of you are still using Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL or EarthLink to send email on behalf of your business? How many of you are actually paying both AOL and EarthLink every month to send email to your prospects and current customers? Did you know that every time you send an email using these services you are literally allowing them to take money away from your business? Please don't get me wrong, I too have used and still use some of these services but I never use them for my business. I use my business email address (jeffb@2thenextlevel.com) for communication, correspondence and marketing. The minute I hit "send," not only do I get to put my company name in someone's email box but I also give them a way to get back to my website for additional information on my company--and the possibility of a sale.

Your email address has become a major form of both marketing and branding. So much so that when you send it out to multiple people in the form of an offer you have for your goods or services your company name could be read by millions. So, why would you allow Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL or EarthLink to get all the credit. These email services already have millions upon millions of customers. Yet you have been letting them take precious marketing and branding dollars right out of your pocket. Every time you send that email you're giving them a free marketing opportunity to your prospects and customers. Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL and Earthlink all love it when you decide to start a business and use their email address. It does not matter if you choose a name like mybusinessname@aol.com, you are still giving AOL the ultimate way to market their service.

Ok so now you know what you should not do. Now here are the steps involved in what you should do.

Step 1: Go quickly to a website like proemailaddress.com and register a domain name for your business. If you can't get your exact business name try and get the domain name of what you specialize in: ex. Wesellrestaurants.com, or how your product delivers performance: ex. Thechaindrive.com

Step 2: In doing the search and then registration of a domain name, try your best to get a ".com" name. ".com" is still the most popular and the most recognized. If you cannot get ".com" go for ".net" and last but not least, ".biz".

Step 3: Get an email package that will supply you with at least 5 email addresses to start. Get more if you have more people in your company, but 5 email addresses are enough for most small businesses.

Step 4: The two most important email addresses are yourname@yourbusiness.com and info@yourbusiness.com. yourname@yourbusiness.com should go on every marketing piece you give out. This includes your business card, brochure, letterhead and fax coversheet. Try not to put yourname@yourbusiness.com on your website. Use info@yourbusiness.com for this purpose instead. This info email will be your catch-all email address. This will cut down on the amount of spam you would receive at yourname@yourbusiness.

Step 5: Send a change of email address letter informing all your customers that have been using your old Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL, and EarthLink that you now have a new email address and the old one will no longer be in use. One of the best ways to do this is to use a service like Plaxo.com. Plaxo.com will help you send out the latest information on you and your business via email.

Step 6: Use the auto response or vacation response feature on your old Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL, and EarthLink email to inform those that are still sending email to you that you have changed your email address to yourname@yourbusinessname.com Make sure you inform them that they should now use your new yourname@yourbusinessname.com email from now on and that your old email address will only be checked once a week for the next 30 days.

Step 7: Create a signature line at the end of your new yourname@yourbusinessname.com again informing those who had your Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL, and EarthLink of your new email address and to update their spam filters with the change.

Step 8: If you are having problems in keeping up with your email list and want to send out broadcast emails more efficiently, consider using a third party email distribution service like Constant Contact or Broadcast Email Expert.

Step 9: Use the message on your voicemail to remind those that call you that you now have a new email address and/or website. Give them a choice to leave a message or send an email to your new email address.

Step 10: Finally for those of you who use AOL and EarthLink you may decide to cancel these accounts so you can save money. Since Yahoo, MSN, and Hotmail are free you may decided to keep these accounts--but again you should not use them for business purposes. Keep these email accounts for personal use only, and bring more money to your business by bringing more people to your website using
"yourname@yourbusinessname.com"

Make $100 Dollars Daily Online - 3 Effective Ways to Use Article Marketing to Explode Your Income

Want to make a full time income online? Having a full time income means replacing what you are earning now. How much are you making a day? For most people, it's about earning that $100 per day. At that income level, most people can survive without a job.

So how do you make $100 a day online? One of the easiest method to adopt is article marketing. Article marketing is so easy to execute that almost everyone can do it. As long as you can write in simple English, you can drive traffic to your website and explode your income. Here is how you can drive traffic with articles.

1) Write hundreds of keyword based articles.

To earn $100 a day, you must write enough articles to generate a decent amount of traffic. Let's do the math. If you drive 100 visitors to your website and you make 5 sales, you are converting at 5%. If each sale makes you $20 profit, you already hit your income goals. But to generate 100 visitors a day, you must be prepared to write and submit hundreds of articles. The more articles you write and submit, the faster you will reach your income goals.

2) Register keyword rich top level domain names.

Some article directories don't allow you to include affiliate links in your author resource box. So the best way to work around this problem is to register top level domain names. Use your target keywords in the domain names. Once you have registered the name, you can either redirect to the affiliate offer, or you can create a landing page with some content and then link to the offer.

3) Get better rankings for your own site.

Article marketing can be used for SEO purposes as well. Your articles will rank and bring you traffic. On top of that, your own site will also rank better due to an increase in the number of back links.

Panhandling in the Information Age - Ask For Money Online!

So, most of us have seen them - the sad, grimy, down-on-their-luck types - perhaps holding a sign saying, "Will work for food," or "Homeless Vet." (One of my favorites - yes this was an ACTUAL sign and a web search will turn up pictures of it - is "Ninjas killed my family - need money for karate lessons.")

No matter how we feel about begging for money, it happens all around us. And as unbelievable as it may seem, people can actually make a very good living panhandling. A television news crew in Memphis recently reported on several local panhandlers who make $150 a day, just by asking for it. One beggar follows groups of tourists and hits up friendly-looking couples with nothing more than a smile... and averages $200 per night doing it!

In the information age, "virtual panhandling" is slowly becoming known as an option for anyone who needs money for any reason. Examples of cyber-begging, as it's come to be known, can be documented as far back as 1998. During the summer of 2002 it became widely known when a woman in Brooklyn, New York, started her web site asking people to save her from her credit card debt. She wanted to raise $20,000, and in a mere 20 weeks her website received over two million hits and her debt was paid off!

Since then, there have been countless other examples of cyber-begging - successful and not. People are trying to raise money for everything from plastic surgery to divorce to house payments to vacations - and a significant number of them achieve at least a modest level of success!

Now, I'm certainly not encouraging anyone to give up their day job and hit the street - physically or virtually! But if you have a financial need, and can present it online in a compelling manner, it may very well be worth it to you to ask for money online! You don't even need any experience creating your own web site.

If you'd like to capitalize on already existing website traffic and search engine rankings, simply sign up on one (or more) of the available sites that have sprung up to help people ask for online donations. On most of them, you will pay a minimal monthly charge (with a few upcharge options for things like links that are bolded or shown in a different color, or preferred positioning for better visibility), and you are given your own page to tell your story and ask for money in whatever manner you choose. They will also provide you with a personal link straight to your page; this is very helpful if you wish to generate some extra publicity for your cause on an online forum, website classifieds, or even your local newspaper.

If you choose to go this route, you will want to carefully examine the site you choose to post on and the image it projects. Some sites definitely offer a more professional, caring, and welcoming design, while others offer a more cheesy/sleazy bent. While there is undeniably some room for "cheese" if you are trying to raise money for breast implants, you may want to project a more sympathetic appearance if you need money for medical school tuition.

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous and technically savvy, go ahead and set up your own personal cyber-begging site dedicated just to you! There are several places online that will allow you to set up and host your own site for little or no cost. In most of these cases, you can also choose to purchase your own domain name for your URL, or stick with the subdomain the host assigns to you. However, using this method, you need to be prepared to wait a bit longer for the donations to start rolling in. You will need to submit your new site to the search engines, optimize it for search keywords, and publicize it to drive people to visit it. That's definitely do-able, but will take a great deal more time and effort.

Either way you go, a PayPal account is a must. Using a PayPal account, you can receive donations from your new online friends anonymously - no one needs to send cash to your address, or a check to your name. PayPal makes it anonymous for the giver as well, freeing them from worries that you may contact them later to hit them up again!

So, next time the money blues hit - whether you lose your job, want to finance your next vacation, or simply need a bit extra for that little pick-me-up - consider asking for money online. Who knows; the rewards could be, well, rewarding!

Make Money Online Fast and Free - Fact Or Myth?

Can someone really make money online fast and free? I mean like, as much as $10,000 in a week or even overnight? How about $500 up to $5000 in 2 weeks to 30 days? When it comes to how much money and how fast, the latter of the above questions seems much more realistic.

When people see the word "free" they immediately think of it not costing them anything in order to get whatever the item or service is that's being advertised as "free." The funny part is, more often than not, it seems that the term "free" is used mainly to get your "free" attention so you'll pay for something sooner or later.

To arrive at an answer to making money online fast and free, let's ask a few questions and look a little deeper to find a viable explanation of why so many may be making this claim and whether it is Fact or Myth. I'm not going to give you any hype here, only the facts that I've found along my somewhat lengthy research during the past year.

Why are people turning to the Internet for income? Well, many may be looking for additional sources of income since their current income isn't enough. The economy has hit many people hard with unemployment during the past few years. Long commutes, extra hours, or trying to work more than one job just takes too much time away from family and the responsibility of keeping up your property or not being able to get a vacation or hardly even any time to relax. The option of being able to gain income online looks quite promising to everyone, in those aspects.

After doing a bit of checking around, we find that in making money online involves some manner of selling something and making a profit on it. These things can be a variety of items comprised of hard, solid items like clothing, electronics, and etc., to informational products or a type of service. These informational products maybe comprised of how to instructions, knowledge, etc. and maybe provided in written, audio, or video formats or a combination. For some services, there is a one-time fee and for others there is a recurring fee like a monthly subscription. For many that don't have a product of their own, it turns out that selling already made products for a profit works well and fast. Plus, a person can sell many products this way. This is what is called "affiliate marketing."

So, after some time of seeing all of the wonderful ads of how we can get lots of money online fast, we make a selection and start one. A few weeks later, we're still nowhere and perhaps spent $200 that kind of hurt our wallet. We look for another and try it. A couple of weeks later the same thing happens, nothing. Now we're out about $500.

Well, not as easy as we were lead to believe, huh? Well, it can be easy but it takes a bit of time to learn some things first. And, yes, you can get that $500 to $10,000 in a week. Only, you more than likely won't get it your first week! It can happen though, a few weeks later or a month later but you will have to put some extra time and effort in sooner if you want to have it happen sooner.

Is there a learning curve and how can it be overcome? There is a learning curve for everyone unless they already know all of the necessary information. It's overcome by having the right tools, information, training, and support that only comes from a solid company with a proven track record that they can back up with a guarantee of their service. No, they won't guarantee that you'll make $10,000 in your 1st month or even 6 months down the road because you have to do your share of work to make that happen. They will guarantee their service, products, training, and support though.

Wow, sounds good, doesn't it? Does it cost a lot? Well, that depends. There are some actual places that can get you started for less than $10 and others that can cost upwards of $400 to get started with some websites, hosting and training.

Then, of course, I hear the people say, "But what's all this stuff about making money online fast and free?" Well, check the phrase. Yes, you can make money online. Is the money free or the part about making the money? Is somebody making free money using a money press or something? Actually no. Let me explain.

The Myth

"Make money online fast and free". There is at least 1 cost, time. It cost's time to do it. The more time you invest, you can start making money faster and more of it.

The Fact

There is money available that you can receive without paying any money for. That's when someone just gives you money without expecting or requiring anything in return. As it turns out, yes, you can make money online for free. However, getting started to do just that is going to cost you some time and at least a little money to get started to make that "online free money". You have to pay for Internet service unless you know where to get it for free. It also costs to have your web area hosted and a name for your area, known as a domain name. After a period of time, when your stuff is up and running properly, it will pay for itself, repay the money it took to start and can continue to provide income if maintained and in operation.

Evidently, I have Internet service to get this far. What I did discover though, is where to get all of the other goodies and start for less than $10 for 30 days! Then, I discovered I could keep it going at a minimum cost of less than $100 for a year! Does this sound too good to be true? You be the judge.

With all that being said, if you really want some "bang for your buck" and want to get started for next to nothing including all the tools and training, check out my Affiliate Review at http://www.affiliatereview.greatreviewcenter.com

Online Home Business - What it Takes to Start One

If people are opting for an Online Home Business in droves, there are some major reasons that are compelling a majority of them to do so. Skyrocketing gas prices, rising unemployment, lay-offs by the thousands, and inflation that's hit the ceiling are just a few. On the brighter side, however, the internet has witnessed a phenomenal rise in the number of home-based, online business entrepreneurs, and the numbers (as well as options) are growing by the minute. If you've decided to say goodbye to your day job and start an online home-based business, here's what it takes to start one.

The road to money starts with you. This is your dream, your online home business, your "child"... and you've go to make it work. This won't be hard, if you have the drive and are truly passionate about what you intend to do. Design a plan that fits your personal needs, time schedule, aspirations, and goals; then stick to it. Most importantly, you've got to be happy doing what you're doing, because if you're happy, you'll succeed with a smile.

Organize the home office. One indispensable piece of equipment that's critical to the success of your online home business is a computer with an internet connection. If you have a product or service to sell, you'll need your own website. Then there are other important things to think about; adequate work and storage space that will enable you to work comfortably and efficiently, and a second telephone line exclusively for your home business. Working at home has its distractions, especially when your kids are at home playing, listening to loud music, or having a TV on near you. You can avoid this by laying down strict rules for the family to follow.

Create your own website. This may take a little time and a nominal sum of money, but either way it will be well worth the time and money spent. A catchy domain name that has good recall value is your next important step. Try including your companies name within the domain, as this will give it more appeal and legitimacy. Avoid a 'dot.org' or a'dot.net' address; use a 'dot.com' instead, as it will be easy to remember and is the most popular.

Design your web pages carefully. There are several professional web designers and copy writers that you may hire for this. What's important, though, is to keep your web pages uncluttered, readable, and visually appealing. Content is another crucial aspect of your website to focus on, if you wish to make a success of your online home business. To a site visitor, nothing is more important than good, believable content (not fancy words or graphics). Simply focus on the specific benefits of the product or service you are marketing, and if there's a unique selling proposition, give it the prominence it deserves. To ensure repeat visits, you must update content regularly.

It's really not surprising why so many people are opting for an online home business, when you consider how easy it is to set one up (as opposed to an outside business). When you discover that there are far less risks, low start-up costs, and the possibility to make a lot of money, chances are good you won't think twice.
